Where can children get tested?

30 June, 2020

Children under five years of age can be tested for COVID-19 at hospital testing clinics. In some cases, parents may be referred to a hospital emergency department.

Children aged five years and over can be tested at a shopping centre drive-through testing location or one of the other testing sites across Victoria. Due to the constraints of testing through a car window, children aged under five years will not be able to be tested at shopping centre drive-through locations.

All Monash Health sites (including drive-throughs) offer paediatric testing for babies under one year old and upwards.
